At the Tree of Life, Kion meets Rani, who's calm, wise, and... not at all impressed with his jokes. As he heals physically, Kion starts to reflect on who he is-and who he wants to become. The dangers of the lioness has put all Pridelanders to stand their guard, Kiara is looking forward to being queen. Kovu on the other hand, thinks he is not ready to be king. But Simba tells Kovu that he will not be living forever to rule as king, so Kovu will have to step up and be king with Kiara by his side.
