Kovu was raised by hateful Outsiders, and being taught and trained to exact revenge on Simba in the name of the villainous Scar. He was to get closer to the princess in order to carry it out. And Jasiri was a hyena, her species forever scorned by their disrespect for the Circle of Life, and by their alliance with Scar. But she was different than the rest, and yet, in order to protect her family who also share her ideals, she was forced to one day betray the prince, who trusts her with his life. If this three-way war was to truly end once and for all, both Kiara and Kion must learn not only what it means to truly be one, but also a deeper meaning of "sisi ni sawa", and with the power of upendi.

Scar's plan is in full motion. Ever since the prince of the Pridelands SIMBA was born, Scar over the years manipulated him to join his side against the king of the Pridelands MUFASA, in an attempt to take what Scar believes is his. Over the years Scar has been preparing for the day when Simba would join his side and go against his father, so he prepared a large army of Hyenas from the Outlands to help him and Simba to take over the Pridelands when the time is right. But now Scar's plan is finally ready to be set into motion. Simba's mate Nala is expecting cubs very soon and Scar sees this as an opportunity to manipulate the young Lion into joining his side, he just needs everything to go according to plan in order for him to take over as the new king of the Pridelands....

This is a continuation of The Lion King: Katie's Magical Journey. The story is very similar to TLK2, but with a few added twists and some scenes from The Lion Guard!
