A young American man, in an attempt to escape his past, moves with his dog to a small, quaint, peaceful town in Japan: Kuoh. However, he'll soon be wishing he never left home in the first place, for he never thought he'd interact with devils on his retreat. How will he react to his new situation? What is it that he's attempting to escape? But most importantly, who is this "dumb" human and his dog? There's only one way to find out. Author's note: This is my first ever fanfic, so don't expect it to be perfect. The first twelve chapters will be released starting January 19th, with a chapter being released the next day. After that, I have another project that will be posted, and perhaps I'll resume this one if you all enjoy the premise enough. I would also like to clarify that I have not seen DxD in years, so it's not gonna be exact, and I don't feel like watching it again.
