In this, the cartoon versions that I based off two videos that I will show in the story, will be summoned into the canon version of Poppy playtime, leading to many misunderstandings and discoveries. They will be accompanied by the player, who I will refer to as 'AJ' as they make their way into the factory, starting from right before entering the playcare!

PROLOG Catnap yawned. It was another tiring day at school, so he lay down on his bed. Mrs Delight gave them a test today about Science. Catnap hated it. But as he walked inside, Catnap froze. His house was a mess. "...Hello?" Catnap called out. He walked inside hesitantly. Waiting to use his red gas if needed. But then, he saw a note. With a poppy flower drawing on the front. "What's this?" Catnap asked himself as he opened the note. WAKE UP. The note read. Showing a drawing of a young boy sitting on his bed. A hand climbing out from underneath. "What the-?! Who would ever make this!?" Catnap balled the note, stomping towards the kitchen. He looked around. KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK. Catnap jumped. He looked at the window and- END OF PROLOG. Hope you enjoy! This fanfic will be about the in-cartoon universe of Smiling Critters. Mostly inspired by those animations made by inubis on YouTube! But what happens when things start getting weird? Catnap stops showing up to class. Or games. He starts avoiding everyone, and spends more time in the forest. What is he hiding?

this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D

A 15 year old girl name Mia who is an orphanage place called playcare, she hasn't got adopted, but at least she watches the kids make sure everything is okay or cost any trouble, it didn't last long for that year the employees told her that she was getting adopted, she was happy about it, but that was a lie, they turn her into a smiling critter, but they didn't expect her to a humsn as a smiling critter she has to get used to her new life (hey everyone, news story come out, and it's called the human smiling critter, I had that idea turn on my head and I thought so in my head that it tells me, you know what I'm making that story, a human as a smiling critter, that was my idea, maybe finding the right chapter or..... something, I don't know, I'm probably will be putting the style as gametoons on YouTube, I have to think about it, hope you enjoy the story)

After watching the video for the CatNap recall VHS tape by Mob Entertainment, it made me wonder.. what if "Smiling Critters" was a TV show catered towards children (we're talking toddler to 1st grade ages here)? As the characters seem pretty cheery and wholesome, and if there were to be a child friendly plot, this could be a full fledged kids show. So hop on in, buckle up, and get to reading.

A 12 year old girl breaks into the infamous playtime co factory after being scared by her school friends. She accepted wanted to not look like a chicken in front of them afraid she might get made fun of. But there's a problem, she's not alone at the factory, but There is a toy brand called the smiling critters and they have been in the factory for years after it went abandoned. And these critters after being alone for so long they want to catch her and turn her into a smiling critter so they don't feel alone anymore. Will she escape, or join the critters family forever? But she ain't alone, as she finds out someone that also broke into the factory also trying to escape. This person is no other than a x employee breaking into the building many years after they worked there So can the duo escape before they both join the family of The smiling critters, find out in the story. P.S. the cover art for the story is not mine and belongs to its original owner.
