Dan Howell lost his mother when he was 6, having no recollection of her. His past is a blur, his future dead and the present a tally of how many days he's lived. His foster mother doesn't give a shit, his friends don't care about him and he can see the darklings. Darklings, beasts of the shadows and nightmares.
