Victorian era - Hundreds of years ago, human race became extinct after the battle against vampires, until one day a human child was found in the streets of the capitol, Vladsmiriov. The child is given the opportunity to grow till its eighteenth birthday and will be given the same choice as its ancestors: become a vampire or death. At seventeen Eyra comes closer to death than ever, but is saved by the Royals, who take her into their home. She will be kept safe until her eighteenth birthday, but when the werewolves discover her existence, and kidnap Prince Adrian, safety is no longer a priority. Without hesitation Lord Dracula is prepared to trade her for his son, but an encounter with the werewolves will lead to complications...some Eyra has not foreseen.

Lacey Grace is a 26 year old girl who is stuck in between tearing down walls, and building more. She finds hope in Keith Urban's music. Her life is totally turned around after she meets him. Lacey falls hard for Keith, but she isn't sure if she is actually willing to let her guard down completely. Will Keith change that, or will Lacey let him be the one that got away? (A/N: This story is narrated by Lacey, with some narrated by Keith. Also, everything I write down in this story is completely fictional.)

Now they must fight for survival and try to find a way out as a ghost like man stalks them with an intent to kill. Layla, Garry, Lubbock, they all have chapters obviously but most of it focuses around Layla.
