Apparently in this house, groaning in pain was becoming my new hobby. I took a sharp breath in, looking up at the figure that towers over me. Being scared was an understatement. I was truly petrified. The way he strolls around me is enough to almost send me in to a pit of tears and heavy breathing.
Almost.
"Jennifer, I'm going to ask you one more time. What do you think you're doing out?" Dan asked me, a scowl placed on his face. Even though I felt my stomach plummet from the realisation that I'm not getting out this time, I didn't want to show weakness.
"Fuck off."
I saw him visibly clench his knuckles into fists, and he chuckled lowly.
"Wrong move."
