Kano "The Deceiver" Shuuya is indeed considered one of the greatest thieves of all time, managing to swipe countless amounts of priceless artifacts right under the authorities' noses. She, on the other hand, is the hand of justice, the key to locking away evil, and you wouldn't even know if she was next to you. Kido "The Ghost" Tsubomi is the rookie of rookies, the best cop on her force. But when Shuuya is mistaken as a murder culprit, he only has himself and his friends to clear his name once and for all. He can create illusions and pretend as someone you know. She appears to be living normally. He seems to be enjoying his life with his friends in the gang. But deep inside, they harbor sadness and pain. They just wear masks to conceal their true emotions. Can they take off each other’s masks and see each other’s genuine feelings? And can they show their suppressed sentiments to each other?

She then woke up in a familiar place. She hears voices outside the bedroom door only to find it was the Mekakushi Dan. Will she flow with the storyline or mess it completely up? (Edit 1: This is hella old, immature and childish writing. If you want to read it go right ahead but this is just a warning.) (Edit 2: This is the OG and very first book on this account + it's very entertaining to look back on.)

Now now, have you ever wondered what the red eye kids stories are before they had red eyes? I am guess that most of us this that way, no.
