Y/n Barnes is the in-house medic for the Avengers Compound. She's been married to her husband Bucky for over two years and known him for even longer. When Shield caught wind of a super powered child in the foster system, the Barnes' offered a place for him in their home. These are bits and pieces of their journey to gain eight year old Peter Parker's trust and show him what a family is supposed to be. But what happens when a medic and a soldier end up with a super powered spider-kid?

The kid was in a readied stance, arm outstretched with a toy repulser on his hand and an Iron Man mask adorning his face. There was a drone right in front of him. It was about to kill the little boy... And Tony was too far away. ... Or the one where Peter doesn't need Iron Man to save him because he can do it himself.
