Rosebud, a young troll, grew up in the Pop Village of Trolls with her overprotective brother, Branch. Despite being the only family member she remembers, Branch never let her live the life of a regular troll. He was always warning her of potential dangers and keeping her from participating in everyday activities that other trolls enjoyed. Rosebud longed to be part of the community and do things like her peers. After years of being sheltered, Rosebud finally had a chance to experience life with other trolls when they all celebrated their escape from the Bergens. However, the joyous occasion was short-lived, as the Bergens managed to find them again and kidnapped several trolls, including Rosebud. The experience left her feeling helpless and alone, with no idea of what would happen next.
