It's a quiet and peaceful night, well other then the cold and chilly air outside. And despite this fact, Kiki decides to go out for a midnight flight, while her black cat, Jiji tries to convince her to stay inside so she doesn't get sick again. And in the end Kiki ends up getting sick. How will Jiji handle it this time?

Will finally settles down in a town, and befriends Kiki, a witch. After Kiki comes of age and leaves her hometown to travel to a new city, Will is one of the first to receive a letter from Kiki. Using the return address on the envelope, he teleports to Kiki's new town of Koriko and almost immediately falls off a bridge. Saved by an old man who runs a farm just outside of town, Will works off his debt to him in the farm's field, meeting new people all along the way.
