Somehow, Kiku and Alfred landed an apartment flat together, even tolerating each other for several years. People with stark differences usually avoid each other, but some differ.

Kiku Honda thought he had a pretty nice life lined up for himself. A self-published author with a steady job as the manager of a nearby bookstore, he thought he had done rather well for himself. He was surrounded by what he loved, books, and had enough money to go out every once in a while. However, one evening, he meets a strange man who never seemed to open his eyes. This stranger with closed eyes opens Kiku's eyes to what living could be, while turning the quiet life he worked so hard to earn on it's head.
