The mother allowed them to live in the castle with Kiku, Yao stayed behind with his mother while Im Yong Soo, Leon and Mei went with the raven-haired brother. 5 months later, their mother died. Instead of going to live in the castle, Yao stayed behind to care for the house. Life was normal for Yao, until he was declared Jack of Spades.
