This story is a rewrite of Season Five (final season) of Merlin (TV Show) where Merlin finally gets the love interest he deserves. And is told from another point of view. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters of this show except for my own original character.

Kilgharrah is at the point in his life where he just wants to spend the rest of his days with the only family he has left. So, to do that, he has to turn into one of those disgusting apes (also known as humans) and find Merlin.

Prince Arthur is sent on a mission by his father to investigate the Kingdom of Ilaria and it's new King Eldric Arvelle, the Kingdom was long believed to have been destroyed by a civil war. However, rumours state the Kingdom has been claimed once more, allows the free use of magic and is growing in power. With a handful of knights and Merlin, Arthur must assess whether this new Kingdom is a true threat or nothing more than lies and rumours. While Merlin must figure out how to keep his secret in a Kingdom possibly filled with magic.

Merlin was still fretting about his magic when both Kilgharrah and a cold blast of wind coming off the lake blasted through the front door. “I bought some bagels for us Emrys,” He plopped the brown bag onto the coffee table and sat down beside the old warlock. Before Kilgharrah could disrupt his train of thought any further, Merlin said, “I must be young again Kilgharrah. Arthur needs me to be young again.” He smiled approvingly at the old man and lightly clapped him on the shoulder, “There’s the Merlin I remember.”

Taking place at the end of season five, Merlin decides to go against Kilgharrahs advice and revive Arthur with the help of the fae folk. Now he has to face the consequences.

King Uther always wanted a son. The proper heir to the thrown than he wouldn't have to mary his kid off just to continue having power. He was very disappointed when his wife gave birth to a girl and then promptly died. King Uther thought up the perfect lie so that he could get what he believed he rightly deserved, his daughter would act as a boy in public. He got Gaius to agree to keep his daughters true gender a secret. What happens when Merlin shows up to fufill his destiny only to find his destiny was connect to a girl not a boy. A.N: I don't own any on Merlin or the characters and lines form the TV Show.

After the Battle of Camlaan, Arthur and Merlin thought their troubles would be over. Morgana and the Saxons are defeated, and Arthur sits proudly on the throne with Gwen and Merlin by his side. Albion is at peace, and the citizens are happy. Hell, everyone is happy. For the first time ever, Arthur is finally starting to feel like he's done some good for Camelot. But despite the Alliance, the Pendragon House still has enemies, and Arthur soon finds himself ruling without a queen by his side and predicting things that have not come to pass. Merlin steps up in many ways, but fate can be a cruel mistress and soon a serious of events turns him against his destiny. Where is the line that he cannot cross?
