While on the road, the company of Thorin Oakinshield Comes across Rosemary a young Hobbit being attacked by orcs. They save her from her attackers. Now Bofur gets this feeling that he needs to protect her, especially after she seems attached to him. He comes to realize she can't or won't speak. That she's hiding something. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Strange, everyone seemed to already be here. "Kili, open the door. Quickly" Gandalf urged. He looked tense. I opened the door and peered outside. Standing there was a great black wolf. Little smaller than a warg. It's fur was darker than the night, it's eyes bluer than the sky. In short, it was... A beautiful creature. Gandalf's frown dissapeared "About time." He smiled...

Deep within the realms of the Rhosabel forest a elfling lives. Orphaned by events that happened many moons ago she was left in the care of those who cost her parents their lives. A long forgotten promise, and a long bearded stranger comes knocking on her door, changing her life forever. .... "You're nothing but a coward!" She spat, venom dripping off every syllable. If it weren't for him she wouldn't be stuck in this god forsaken part of the country. Wounded and captured.

What if Bilbo Baggins wasn't the only new member that assisted the dwarves and what if we had another side of the same story? How will The King Under The Mountain react when meeting the 15th member of his company? Elen, born in Rivendell, but not completely an elf, finds herself binded by destiny to Thorin's company. But when secrets of her past come back to light and when the journey she goes on pushes her in places she swore she'll never return, when old friends and enemies are encountered, how will Elen manage to remain focused on her task. How will the company react when finding out about her past and what will Thorin think when he'll discover they're not as different as he originally thought? Will Elen manage to find the strength to carry on and will the line of Durin survive in this alternative universe? Maybe even the King will find its peace. This is the story of how Bilbo Baggins met one of his soulmates, Thorin Oakenshield. He learns what happened to their other soulmate. She was an airbender of the Eastern Air Temple and the granddaughter of Galadriel and Celeborn.

Theyndrial Stormhawk was no stranger to adventure. Her father was the Lord of a small town east of Edoras and he frequently took her with him on his travels to other parts of Middle Earth. Theyndrial was half elf half human, one of few. Thorin had worked as a blacksmith in her town for many years and had brought his two young nephews with him. Theyn grew up in the company of Fili and Kili and the three had become very close. Even with her elvish blood, Thorin took a liking to Theyn and acted as something of a protective older brother.
