Her laughter stirred echoes in crystal halls and in her silence, mountains seemed to hold their breath. She was born beneath the light of a dying star, the mountain's breath warm against her cheek, her mother's song a lullaby in a language now forgotten by men. And though she was only a child, the earth already knew her name For the world would turn, and fire would rise. And in the shadow of dragons, amid the stirrings of ancient evil, the voice of the stones would be heard again.

Fauna Brandybuck, a mer hobbit from Buckland always dreamt of an escape from her family's forceful ideals and the duties that came along with it. Her only chance of freedom had come the least person she expected, her cousin Bilbo. Though she never thought living with the most rigid person would lead her on such an unexpected journey. A story in which a hobbit can't stop herself from falling in love with dwarf prince amongst the danger and chaos. To the kingdom of Mirkwood, Layla is a mystery a beautiful yet distant figure who doesn't quite fit into the mold of a typical princess. While others in the kingdom are content with their duties and the life of royalty, Layla has always preferred being alone whether that means reading in her room or wandering the forests of Mirkwood. She's not interested in the palace politics or the constant attention. Layla often feels like she's watching life from the sidelines, unsure of where she belongs. It was said it was ruled by a beautiful queen, who wore a dress as white as snow, a crown as pure as silver, with silver eyes as bright as the moon. They say if you whispered her name she would give you the knowledge you seek. But that was only a myth... right?
