During spring break, a group of teenagers travels to an empty theme park, where a serial killer, dressed up as a clown named bubbles targets and kills them off one by one, but why are they at the park? Because, everybody loves a good scare.

I squeezed my eyes shut and when I opened them I expected to wake up and stare at my popcorn ceiling. That didn't happen. My eyes opened and I still stood on the concrete ground in front of a ferris wheel. The lights shone brightly and I felt my lungs constrict. Why am I here? Having been only staring at the big wheel I must have looked insane or maybe I just looked terrified. That would be a good guess at my feelings since a part of me was extremely terrified and my lungs were making that a very obvious point. Just the fact that I didn't know where I was or how I got here made me scared but I knew that looking around like a lost puppy would make me look like a...well, a lost puppy. "What are you doing?" I heard somebody ask smoothly. I didn't turn my head or even angle my body in a way that made it seem like I'd heard them because they couldn't possibly be talking to me. The smooth voice cleared their throat, "I'm sorry but you aren't looking too good. You're on the ground, I'd only expect that look if you were up in the air on that Ferris wheel." Just the thought of being up in the air made my blood pump in my ears. I can say with solidity that I am not getting put in the air by that spinning wheel. "Okay I just made this worse," he placed his hand on my back, "Let's go and sit you down." I felt the warmth from his hand through the fabric of my shirt as I allowed him to lead me in the opposite direction of the ferris wheel and to an empty picnic bench. There were a lot of people around us all smiling and walking around leisurely while I'm being led by some random guy to sit down and make my panic stop. I ended up sitting with my back toward the wheel so that I wasn't looking at it and he sat in front of me. Had it not been for the lights from the booths and rides I wouldn't have been able to see his face.

If you ask me to help you for the third time," He paused for a mere moment, reducing the grin to a small tilted smirk as he stared at me with a set of glimmering amber eyes, "You'll be mine." With that, his body turned into a big cluster of several black butterflies, causing me to let out a loud scream from the sudden shock, "Run, darling. Run." He had disappeared from my sight yet his booming voice continued echoing around the deathly still surroundings, making my blood turn cold. ~I don't own the picture used in the cover.~
