In the story, Ember's mother went missing when she was 10. Currently, she is sick of her father using her since she's so "skilled". She enters the Hunter exam to get her license so she could go wherever she wants. There she meets a middle-aged-looking teen, a calm Kurta, a stubborn spiky-haired kid, and a two-sided cat-eyed assassin. What will be of them?
