She allowed him to do that but when it came time to come home, she was hunting him like it was bounty and she had a family to feed. She picked up rumors, she listened to the streets; learned the way a Southern Belle should've never even glanced in the direction of. Finally, she got a lead on him and she was on the adventure to bring him home; where he belonged. ___ "I'm going to kill him, my heart. I need to know you'll forgive me when I do." There was no 'if's, it was as simple truth in the future. "Why would you need my forgiveness?" I asked without thinking. I wasn't the one traveling the world with him in tow. "I feel the attachment that you two have had the moment you touched him in the saloon. You may not realize it, but," Doc leaned down to whisper the next part in my ear, "you have a certain air around you that attracts every man that barks." "Good thing, my man howls." I smiled back at him, kissing his jawline.

In West Canaan Texas football is everything. It is the way of life and if you don't agree, well you can just get out. Already being a big sports fan herself, Alyssa finds it no problem fitting in.
