Red Queen Fan Fic I scream and when I hit the ground, I get dizzy and see everything doubled. I here a muffled voice. My father. Something....you okay....hurt....can you hear me...? I put the butt of my hands on my head trying to refocus my vision. When I do I look up. And in that very moment I look up, I hear a crack. Not a small one; a deafening one. More wood is going to fall. On me. I don't have time or space to run or move out the way. It starts to fall and as soon as I put my hands over my head to shield myself, I feel it. Not the wood, but the electric shock. The one with no pain, pure energy. Only this time, it consumes me. All of me. My eyes are closed but I see purple. Ultraviolet purple. I feel like I put all the energy I've had in my life in this one moment. Then as soon as it came, it goes. When nothing happens, my hands still over my head, I find the courage to look up and around me. And what I see is not what I expect.

Mare Barrow and Kilorn Warren have always been friends. But when they both get caught up in the war, they grow farther apart. Although they are always there for each other, they are never around. Until Cal betrays Mare, and Kilorn decides to share some of there childhood memories to cheer her up. And these are some of there stories.

This is a continuation of Turkeys and Kisses. Maven is jealous of Cal, who has the one thing that Maven wanted for himself. Mare. So with a thirst for revenge with his childish mind, he plots to make her hate him. (Also there's a bit of Evangeline x Kilorn on the side.)

Some days it was hard for him to figure out who he was. Was he a baker, or a fisher? Sometimes the thought of going to the water freaked him out. Sometimes he couldn't imagine life without a family. Then he wakes up, and wonders if he really wanted an abusive mother and a distant father. He wakes up to wanting to go back to the river. Some days, the words that come out of his mouth are so filthy, even his friend-Mare-blushes at his choice of words. And some days, he can't say a milder form of the word without taking a hit to the head and a scolding for using such 'vile, Seam language'. "What are you, boy?" She rarely calls him by either name. "Don't you dare use that Seam language in my house. You're a merchant child, we don't speak like them." He wants to say that technically, he is part Seam. Half of his life is spent in the Stilts, in a rickety house with low pay and muddy streets streaked with oil. Disclaimer: I do not own Hunger Games or Red Queen.

Mare Barrow is a athletic, talented courageous, head-strong girl who was accepted to go to Archeon Silver High. One of the most famous high school ever known in Norta. Mare is a skilled dancer. Mostly she is a street dancer. She trained at the age of 10 and slowed down at the age of 17. What if Cal has suddenly found an interest in Mare's personality? What if he falls in love with her? What if she doesnt fall in love with him? After all, Mare's ex-boyfriend , Tyton did break her heart before. Whats to stop Cal from breaking hers?!?!?!

Mare goes back to Norta months after the events of War Storm, along with Evangeline, Elane, and Farley. This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them. *Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one. **I OWN NOTHING!!
