The only thing that brought a little light to Kylie's life was her little brother. After his tragic death, which she can't stop blaming herself for, she becomes even more sheltered. When her parents have to leave town for a few weeks, they refuse to leave her alone. That's how she finds herself living with her mother's best friend and her son Josiah. She wants nothing to do with him, but Josiah is set on showing her the way to recovery.
