Maka and Death the Kid have been close friends since he started the academy. One day, Patty and Liz set Kid and Maka up on a blind date, which started their relationship. I don't own any characters!

Death The Kid is your typical skater boy, but he doesn't tell people his name. He hides his proper self and becomes the normal teen he wants to be. But he falls for a girl, all prim and proper.. But she won't accept skater boy for who he truly is.

The private garden of the Academy is known as a place of beauty for all weapons and meisters including Kid who now reigns as Reaper in place of his father. Everyday, Kid retreats to the same spot in the garden filled with red and black roses that contain an aura of grieve and regret. Now, a heart-broken boy joins Kid as he discusses with the boy about his first love.

(A/N: I'm going to not use the names they already gave the kids in the series, I'm coming up with my own if you all won't mind that. This is my first soul eater fanfic so please let me know how I did for the first try. Kid has been watching Maka train with Soul each and every day for the past three months. Over the months Maka has gotten stronger and has filled in quite a little bit since their first years at DWMA.
