In Forks, rumors spread faster than the rain. I just happen to know exactly where to start them. They think I'm the villain in their story. Maybe I am. But Quil Ateara has never looked at me like I needed saving.

Aiyana Hill is a teenager trying to manage school and raising her 7 year old sister, Catori Hill. Aiyana has been the only parental figure Catori has ever known because their father is never there and their mother left them when Catori was barely 10 weeks old. It got easier for Aiyana to raise Catori when their uncle, aunt, honorary grandmother, and cousin Melissa moved back to the Rez, when Catori was 3 years old. Aiyana always thought the Quileute legends were just that, legends. And the tales were just that, just stories. Until the Cullens returned to Forks. So the only non-problematic couple in the whole Twilight universe (the characters even acknowledge this lmfao) get roughly 5 seconds of screen time in both the book AND the movies?? I always thought Jared and Kim had so much wasted potential so here's just a lil short fluff about how they met. FYI this is originally written on AO3, may transfer it to Wattpad if it does well or I really like it. SPOILER, i did like it, and it did decently for my first AO3 fic.
