A girl goes to the Physical Entrance Exam and absolutely demolishes it. Strangely enough, she wasn't on the roster for the exam, and she didn't do the written exam. Nedzu is just strange enough to accept her into the Hero Course--class 1-A, at that. OR: Muichirou spawns in the middle of the physical entrance exam with absolutely NO memories WHATSOEVER except his name, his Hashira/swordsmanship training, that he's a Hashira (but not all of what that entails), and a few misclananious things.
