Kit couldn't remember the last time they had had coffee together. And yet here they were, doing this thing that they were doing. Having coffee, and talking about things. He hadn't seen her or spoken to her in four weeks. She looked different. Her hair was loose and fell elegantly down to just below her shoulders in chocolate brown curls. In the light he could see flecks of deep burgundy. It framed her face nicely and brought out her blue eyes.
It is good to see you, she said, placing her cup down. Her tongue gently swept her lower lip and she looked down at her hands. He exhaled slowly, placing a cigarette between his lips and lit it. She looked up as he took his first drag, the intoxicating vapour filling his mouth and lungs. He leaned back again, observing her from across the table.
You too. I honestly thought I wouldn't see you again, to be honest.

Just a modern day alternative Kimilia for my own enjoyment.
