He didn't understand why he woke up feeling pain and all, then... WHAT! He has gained healing abilities but wait... This wasn't part of the plot. Kim Rok Soo, now Cale would realize this version was more like a diverse timeline and the monsters from his world although slightly different were also here. A summon for all able men in every household from the crown prince let to him going to the army where he would begin his life as a healer where he would feel cherished and have a loving family and also surviving means earning a lifetime of a slacker. It is a win-win then.
