MoonlightRequiem
In spring 2027, three years after Lovely Runner, the Korean entertainment industry is shaped by its stars. Kim Hye-yoon has become a versatile "horror queen," praised for her work across multiple genres. Byeon Woo-seok has risen into international stardom as one of Asia's leading men.
Yet behind their success lies timing-a moment three years ago when Woo-seok confessed his feelings after a wrap-up party, and Hye-yoon gently turned him away, choosing career over emotion. He accepted it, leaving their feelings without closure.
Since then, neither has truly moved on. They call it timing, but time proves some feelings wait.
Fate brings them together again in the live-action Daytime Star, where fiction mirrors reality and every scene forces emotions they never named back to the surface.
Complicating this is Rowoon, a former co-star who has loved Hye-yoon for years and returns from military service ready to confess, believing this time his timing may finally be right.
As emotions resurface and scripted love blurs with reality, all three must ask: was it love that failed them... or only timing?
