One day, after a family tragedy, she runs away, only to find that she has somehow been teleported to a new world, one in medieval times with magic and strange people and animals. Everything that she has always wanted is here, and she is sent on a quest to save this new world from danger. She has everything that she could possibly dream of, except for the family that she had run away from, and misses dearly. (BEING EDITED: It sucked so I'm re-writing it and finishing it. This is my first story sorry if it's crap. It was originally for school but I went over the word limit by a few thousand words per normal😁 so I had to delete like half of the story for the one for school but here's the original copy. It's a short story only 2200 words long about a shapeshifter and a girl who's father died a few months ago, she lives in her house with her mother who hasn't been the same since the incident. She feels completely alone with no one to talk to except for a murder of crows who live outside her widow. Her best friend among them is a crow named Ravian. My friend gave me the idea for the plot.

The lights cut out leaving only the sound of feet slapping against metal. The footsteps were close. Too close for comfort. I quickly spun facing the dark hallway. The minimal light bounced off the creatures' claws illuminating them in the darkness. I shuffled back until my shoulders hit the wall. My eyes widened as I curled into myself. It let out a gut wrenching growl sending shivers down my spine before it pounced.

She has been left to herself mostly, always being able to escape her tutors in favor of something more agreeable, but the threat of being sent to war by her mother forces her to take things seriously. However, a single act will cost her the life she wanted at the castle, and send her spiraling into unfamiliar territory. Kuro is the assistant to the Court Enchanter, she has dealt with his requests and stayed loyal through all treatment. But a princess' unrequited interest in her will force a new dynamic between the slave and her world. When everyone around her thinks she deserves all that comes, and dismisses her based on her elven appearance, where will she find solace in the harsh world? There will be minor sexual content, and mentions of necrophilia, but no actual smut because I don't roll that way. Anyways, there will also be violence, sexism, racism, and just plain shittiness. Nothing graphic, but yes, there will be mature themes and swearing. Casual gay mentions, but this will not be a romantic love story, more of a friendship love story.

one summer, it goes like this...(a series)

Just a short story I wrote that I wanted to share. I saw a prompt on an Instagram account I follow that said to have a story start with a statement, then end with that statement, BUT it meant something darker. Soo here's my attempt. Enjoy I guess (Just a heads up its pretty cringy and has some "darker" elements so if you're triggered by guns and violence, then you have officially been warned. Sorry in advance)

This story was inspired by the song "masochist tango" made by Tom Lehrer in the year 1959. But I got inspired and made this story because I got bored during an English lesson and decided to make this. It's a story of two parents who move into a new house with their seventeen-year-old kid and as the years go by the parents die from old age and the kid takes over the house and finds a partner and even if their relationship is kind of toxic, they love each other a lot and would never leave each other because of the love they feel for each other.
