"I'm going back to bed," I say, turning but before I can walk out the door, Beau grabs my wrist. "Don't let me ruin it, please," he says, I look at him, that's what was worrying him? He doesn't want to ruin our friendship. But I do, I want him ruined. So I pull his body closer to mine and kiss him. He's so warm, so safe. He jumps slightly at the contact, but after the initial shock passes, he kisses me back. Whore. I take a step forward, pushing him into the counter, my tongue on his. He tastes safe, right, like we could belong together." Cyrus Essinger and Beau Mercer have been given wild hands in life. Both struggle with disapproving families, starting college in a new state, and questioning sexualities (at least Beau is) So it's not surprising that fate pushed them together, they're practically made for each other, even if it takes them a stupid amount of time to realize. Insane is a messy, ugly, and raw book that's not afraid to face reality, unlike Beau and Cyrus. This won't really be a slowburn, and won't contain a lot of smut. :3

Regretted the day later, yet relieved with the less burden you had to carry, with the help of a little venting and a little therapy along your creativity. . . . It's stupid It's not very mature, how we react at the moment of a heart break but it's life. It's okay to burst out when it needs to be let out. We all get lost sometimes, IN LOVE but we always find our way back to ourselves. Writing is an escape for me, from reality.
