Xaiden woke up in a white room with a mysterious woman claiming that he was a survivor, one of the Kinetic, humans who developed less than normal control over the finer elements of time and space. The one catch to all this power, a girl, Aliyah, a fellow Kinetic tells him in secret, his life, thanks to the drug, now has an expiration date, 6 months. Now, many miles from home, can Xaiden stop the company from distributing the drug to other teens, Uncover the reason for its development, and still save his own life before he "expires"?

When I was a lighthearted, curious little girl, I would see the majestic hero of our town, saving the lives of the people who I saw every day and knew from the connections of my parents. This hero's name was Freefall. Every time he flew in my line of sight, I was possessed to stop and stare and admire everything he was and everything I imagined him to be.
