King Simba and his pride. A few years have passed since the battle with Zira, and things have gotten to a state of normalcy when giant grey birds fall from the sky - something Sam calls "planes". While weary of this new creature: a human, Simba sympathizes with the orphan's plight deciding to teach him the Pride's ways along with his mate, Queen Nala - and grown daughter, Kiara. All is not what it seems, however. And when Simba and Nala make the decision of a formal adoption, the anncestors - the great kings of old - answer in ways both mysterious and worrisome. It will take the united front of both the expedition, and the Pridelanders, to right a past wrong, discover the shared history that brought them together, and most importantly, save the Pridelands from catastrophe.
