Everyone knew the tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table; how it started and how it ended; but there was more to the legend. There was the untold tale in the legend of a strong willed Queen who was known to stand up to King Arthur but also known from many rumors good or bad. But if you looked closer, you would find out that she was ahead of her time. Respected by her knights for her magical talents, unapproachable presence, not letting the mixed rumors get the better of her, strategic planning, and how the Queen never let emotion get the better of her. One day; Sonic the Hedgehog, also known as the fastest thing alive would soon learn the truth behind the legend when suddenly summoned to the land of Camelot by Merlina the wizard; granddaughter to the late Merlin. Fate soon allowed Sonic to meet the Queen of Legend; Queen Y/N L/N military strategist and leader of the resistance. (Sonic and The Black knight AU with reader insert)

Here you will met another version of Elaine. In fact I think this is my first version of her as I wrote it years ago. Whether it is the first part of her story or the last I'm not quite sure! Set in modern day, a team of archeologists are scouring the land looking for anything related to Arthurian times - it's a far cry but worth a shot? Ending to BBC series Merlin alteration. *contains ending spoilers* What would happen to Arthur and Merlin if Arthur didn't die that day? What if someone took his place? This is the tale of two very uncertain lovers still unsure about each other, especially considering that Arthur now knows about magic. Enjoy the read!

William Henry Frost wrote this story in 1895. His book was primarily about his travels throughout England with his wife and mother-in-law. He interspersed these with his version of the tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. His version of these old stories is terrific. However, I don't think modern readers would enjoy the extensive travelogue in the original book. In my abridged version, all the travelogue is removed, and it is just the story of King Arthur. This story of "How the Knights Rode Out Seeking the Grail" is chapter 5 of my abridged version. I hope you enjoy it so much that you buy the entire book!
