Had this or well a similar idea for a while cause even when avatar first aired and Zuko was a huge prick I still had a crush (rewatching by the way) also just so you know I have read a fanfic about Azula x Katara but haven't finished it i actually love Zuko x Sokka or Zuko x Aang or Zuko x Jett but yeah anyway I kind of want a real world meets air bending world a girl who lives near a huge forest was literally exploring said forest when she comes face to face with Azula the thing about it is both Azula and Zuko want her to be theirs and of course there is fighting and shit bending but she is actually pretty good at fighting w/o bending but she does end up with water bending power but her focus is more on using water in plants to control plant so it's more like plant bending also possible that she may kidnap and share her girl with Ty Lyng & Mae

This story is about a head strong girl with a kind heart and curious mind. Princess Aura loved her island where everyone lived happily and peacefully no matter their bending but she lost all she's ever known over night. Grieving can be hard specially when the fresh wounds are reopened again and again with the loss of the people you love. Now 11 Princess Aura stumbles across the Avatar and his friends who offer her to travel along with them but how could she? She can't leave the only family she has left behind or can she? When first traveling to the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu, Aang, Sokka, and Katara encounter the young princess of Omashu, Kyoshi named after the last earth Avatar. Princess Kyoshi was gifted from birth, not with bending but with spiritual knowledge and connections. Although she is an Earthbender she neglected her bending training to dive into learning more about the spirits. Before leaving the Earth Kingdom city team Avatar determined that they can't leave the princess behind, she was a powerful asset. She was the guide for Aang on anything about the spirits.

Aang and his adopted sister Nariko travel as Aang makes new friends, and learns to master the rest of the 4 Elements. (A/N So I know that in the end Zuko gets together with Mai, but in the Smoke and Shadows series she and Zuko aren't together, so I'm shipping my OC with Zuko. Also I just recently started re-watching Avatar the Last Airbender so I'm sorry if somethings are not like the show, but I will keep it fairly close to cannon. Hope you all enjoy the story)
