Pommella Kirke, though, is blinded by her goal to win the Just King's heart back, and she ends up creating more trouble and destruction than love is worth. Not only that, but the green mist and its tempting temptations makes everything more burdensome for everyone. When some princess ends up tampering with Pommella's thinking, making her reckless and ambitious, endangering the lives of loved ones, everyone's life is at stake. Especially Pommella's.

She was shy and smart, but not as smart as Susan, and not as defiant as Edmund. She was the oldest daughter, a burden she bore every day. When Lucy brings her and her family through a wardrobe and into Narnia, Anne has hope that maybe this magical world will fill what she was missing. It doesn't. Edmund Pevensie was craving Narnia. He was craving the warmth, all of his friends and the ability to lead an army without being frowned upon for his age. He craved the attention, and to be someplace a million miles from his cousin Eustace, and of course, Edmund craved her. Princess Catherine was craving adventure. In other words, she was craving a distraction from the pressure she felt weigh on her shoulders, from her brother's lack of time for her anymore, and the ability to fight her own battles without being frowned upon for her size and gender. She craved a distraction from the boredom of Telmarine Princess life, to be someplace new and fascinating and travel like she used to, and of course, Catherine craved a distraction from him.
