➸ 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: House of the Lord ⭢𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲 serves to follow Michael Iskander's (actor of David) wish, that the name of the show should be "The House of the Lord." Because of David's heart that belongs to God alone.⭠ This is the story of David, a mere shepherd boy who became the God-anointed King of Israel and how his sister Yael whose steadfast faith lead her into the very heart of Israel's destiny. She becomes both his closest confidante and the unexpected companion to his dearest friend, Jonathan, prince of Israel. Above all, this is a tale of the heart: For while man looks at outward appearances, God sees the heart (1 Samuel 16:7) The fullness of my heart is behind this story and with deep reverence, I dedicate it to my Lord and my God, in gratitude and in love since I didn't take the opportunity a lot to honor him with the passion of writing he gave me, on this app. It is a Christian work inspired by the show "House of David." I own none of the original characters-only Yael, my OC. God bless and enjoy reading! 🤍 Jonathan x fem!OC ➸

A/N: Something I just wanted to write for fun for creative block. To clarify, this is talking about the Angel Studios version of David, specifically his shepard version. I don't want to associate this with changing the canon of the bible, but I just wanted to write a fun scenario that has been floating around in my mind ever since I've watched the series. Why did they make him so cute?!😭🙏 But anyway, this is just fanwork/AU and to not be taken too seriously. Even with that, I hope you still enjoy it and please support the series! God bless! Extra note: This was part of a writing challenge! A/N AS OF 2026/THE MOVIE'S RELEASE: Re-published because I've been hearing a lot of people simping for David in the movie which I totally expected lol so I thought that this could make em happy so here ya go Young David simps (Originally published 2024) Pairing: Shepard! David x Reader Warnings: None Notes: Established friendship [Childhood Friends], prequel (originally), midquel??😭

Over two thousand small Asherah figurines, have been discovered in the City of David . . . one figurine per house. They have been dated from three thousand years ago. Canaan, 1031 B.C. The early Israelites worship the invisible God Yahweh and his consort, the goddess Asherah. When Asherah learns that a book is to be written, a book that will change the world, she decides that her own seeress will be the storyteller. Of all the children born that day she chooses Rebe'kah, a young nomad born into a starving and struggling Amorite tribe. The Gods of Canaan recounts Rebe'kah's treacherous journey from a simple nomadic life to the court of King David. And tells of her relationship with the Israelite soldier Ben, who is enmeshed in the struggle to establish the new nation

Forgive me if this sounds ungrateful, but I do not see how carrying the earth's largest and heaviest shield, for a ten-foot monster, up and down a hill twice a day, for more than forty days, is the opportunity of a lifetime. But why should my opinion on it matter anyway? My opinion means nothing. I mean nothing. My life is pointless. Worthless. Useless. ~A short monologue telling the story of David and Goliath from the perspective of Goliath's shield barrer~ Quick Note: This monologue was something I wrote in an assignment for my Creative Writing class. My teacher complimented it, I enjoyed writing it, and so I figured it might be fun to post here! I've left the story untouched since I first wrote it (besides a few grammar and spelling mistakes), so what you'll be reading is the original product. Thanks for considering reading! SamlyWatches ~Original Story/Inspiration: 1 Samuel 17:1-58 ~Cover picture was edited by me but the original image is not my own ~3rd place winner in Historical Fiction, Butterfly Awards 2019 [idk how to put the sticker on help]

Blog #5 This walk is not always about miracles signs and wonders. There's work involved. I think it is super important to look over your thoughts and feelings instead of keeping them in your head. Once you can see them you can sort through them and see the truth from the lies. I hope this helps.

HONOR. LOYALTY. FORGIVENESS "These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: ... Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all." - 2 Samuel 23:8 & 39 Dedicated to the army of over 2,000,000,000 plus who have been murdered in the name of convenience who stand with those under the altar Revelation 6:9-11 Copyright (c) 2015 - S. C. Watchman Disclaimer: At first glance at 1 Chronicles 20 it appears obvious that the sons of Rapha were killed after the city of Rabbah was conquered. Brian Godawa has kindly shared some extra Biblical arguments with me where the timing of events does work, but I wanted to be clear that I'm not sure. I would like to point out that my number one priority in writing this fiction is to share a moral and spiritual lesson and the timing of the fall of the Sons of Rapha does not change that main point.

'Campfire Conversations' are a collection of short stories retelling classic Bible stories from the old and new testaments. They follow two points of view: the POV of our story tellers, Martha and Lucius, and the POV of the people in the Bible accounts. These POVs are separated by the * symbol. 'David's Mighty Men' tells the story of three men in King David's army who went the extra mile to protect his kingdom and spark bravery in their fellows, when the Philistines had discouraged them all. For their courage and valiance, they earned themselves honourable mentions in 2 Samuel 23. These men are proof that trusting God for protection, and being bold even in times of tribulation, are qualities which only spread and sharpen those around you. When we are willing to risk it all, God can use us the most.
