Y/N is a pretty popular girl among the students of her college. After losing a bet, she's dared to explore an abandoned building by herself. She wasn't scared at first, but the place looked too good to be abandoned. After a while she reached a room where she found a computer: it was still on, which was surprising because she didn't think there still was power running through the place. There was a weird looking headset laying on the desk beside it. She had never tried one of those, so of course she picked it up out of curiosity, blew some dust from it and put it on. The next moment she found herself standing in a cartoonish-looking world, trapped into the body of a pierrot clown. A certain rabbit boy, blocked in The Amazing Digital Circus just like her, helped her accept her fate and make the most of it. A slow burn between Y/N and Jax, where she slowly figures out what she feels for her friend, while still not being able to forget the abstracted frog, Ribbit, who haunts her memories. What happens when they stop pretending? (I don't own any of the characters except for Y/N's design, everyone is from The Amazing Digital Circus. After putting on a virtual reality headset, two women become trapped in a circus-themed virtual world. They meet five others who share their situation and have been trapped for years, none of them remembering their names. The AI ringleader, Caine, controls the digital world and gives them adventures to keep them from going insane. They now have to try and keep their sanity in the digital world all while looking for an exit.

A Tin Soldier, a rag doll, a jester, a rabbit, a piece of ribbon, a chess piece, and a whatever Zooble is all walk into a circus tent. It sounds like the start of a bad joke doesn't it? Well, it's not a joke. It's your life inside the "Amazing Digital Circus". Caine willing, you all don't lose your minds.

*Welcome to Caine's amazing barn! The place where anything can happen. You heard that right! From high-stakes showjumping to classical dressage. You, my friend, could do anything!* The main cast find themselves in an equestrian facility. With Caine as the owner, Ragatha as the riding instructor, Zooble as the farrier, and Jax as the lazy stablehand. Pomni arrives on the stable's terrain, bringing 2 of her horses with her: Champion and Comet. Jax doesn't care about the horses, others, or anything. Everyone thinks he's trouble. He rarely takes anything seriously and is strongly disliked by the rest of the barn due to the fact that he comes across as very arrogant, dismissive, and rude. Yet no one really knows why Jax behaves this way, not even he himself. When Pomni arrives, his whole survival strategy collapses. He's stuck in a tight clutch where his control and Pomni's safety are at stake, as he slowly loses himself in a spiral of confusion and guilt. Meanwhile, Pomni is slowly being crushed under Caine's pressuring and relentless obsession with molding her and her horses into Grand Prix superstars. Will Jax choose honesty? Try to run away from his feelings? Or just keep watching as she gets pushed over her limit over and over again? There isn't much time to decide... A low-light, high-intensity slow-burn. In Caine's facility, giving in simply is the fastest way to get completely broken.

What if Digital Circus had bloopers like the Pixar films of the 90s and 2000s? I recommend listening to XDDCC from the Digital Circus score as you read this. It really enhances the experience, trust me.

When three new humans stumble on the Amazing Digital Circus after the events of Episode 9, they're excited at first: they get to be cartoons while their real-life counterparts continue with no knowledge of the digital events? Who wouldn't agree to that? But then, a strange new (?) AI appears to challenge the lovable ringmaster and upend the rules the digital world runs by. [This story is a full-on rewrite of the old "Wacky World" story from 2025] Two humans once explored an abandoned building and found a lone headset, once they put it on, they were transported into a colorful 90s-like video game world full of cartoonishly wacky characters: A ragdoll, a purple rabbit, a living chess piece, a comedy and tragedy mask held by a ribbon, and a mix-and-match toybox character, all headed by a ringmaster who's head is just a set of teeth and eyes and a sentient soap bubble. The two humans themselves were in new bodies, one was a jester-hedgehog avatar and the other was in a normal jester getup. Suddenly, they're are both hit with an unbelievable revelation... Jax thought that escaping the circus would be the hard part. He was wrong. Because surviving the world with Pomni is somehow so much worse. When one desperate YouTube upload reunites the two of them, they're forced to navigate a world that's moved on without them, search for the rest of the Circus, and confront feelings neither of them is quite ready to admit. Their only shot is facing it all together. Escaping the Circus was easy. Falling in love is the terrifying part.

I loved the finale, but I do think it made many mistakes and was too rushed. So, I'm re-writting it to be 3 or 4 episodes longer; these are the changes I'm going to make: 1. Jax is a massive jerk with trauma who caused two people to abstract by ignoring them and almost murdered his abusive mother. You can't redeem a guy like that. But pre- episode 9 Jax could be redeemed, and I like redemption arcs, so... I'm changing him a bit and making him actually want to improve. 2, Episode 1 will focus on the cast dealing with the fact that they're brain scans, and also the abstractions will escape. 3, Episode 2 can be the Jax episode. 4, Episode 3 can focus on Caine's redemption and the cast accepting their fate.
