But when she just so happens to 'leave the castle' the same day Hak and Yona had to flee, and she just so happens to 'head to Fuuga' like them, Hak has more than enough reasons to suspect her. But any questions that delve into her personal life and all these 'coincidences', will be answered with a mysterious closed eye smile. Can the gang uncover her secrets, or will she remain the one in the shadows till her death?

A Yona of the Dawn Fanfiction. A young girl in the service of King Il of Kouka Kingdom, Mari, has spent the last seven years of her life as the friend, handmaiden, and unofficial advisor of Il's daughter, Princess Yona. But when the King is killed and Yona's life is threatened, she sets off on her own to find some way to better protect her master. I do not own Yona of the Dawn (of course), only my original characters such as Mari and Mira.
