He's learned to accept his fate as the next war god for the Kingdom of Vivehal. Across the battlefield, General Alycia Sakan of Caelmyra prepares for a war that has been waiting years upon years to end. A failed assassination and an enemy marching towards her forces her to question everything she knows. Until one day a letter arrives to each person. A letter that The Great War God Cathel and General Alycia Sakan wish they never opened. Lies begin to unravel, war returns for the kingdom, and as men and gods prepare for war. People will question the truth, they will begin to tug on answers, leading nations into death. As not everything needs an answer.
