To the outside world, free from this living hell on earth, we are perceived in many ways that some people’s minds cannot fathom. Some just don’t understand. The media portrays us as domestic terrorist just to incite fear upon the masses. The church tell of us like we are the second coming while others call us the Devil in Flesh. Some would argue whether we are just some idea fathomed from the worst of humanities nightmares or a reality they just don’t want to face. But there is something that they all can agree on. We are no longer human. The world abandoned us and left us to rot. We were not the hero this city wanted, but during its darkest hour, we were there. Though parts of us are no longer human, how we used those parts made us so much more. The labels no longer mean anything. We know what we are. Metal.
