For those of you who came here for a fanfic- please don't leave! I'm sorry about the tags, but this story is based off of those tags! Quinn has been an outcast her whole life- dark blood in a world amongst the purest whites. In a world divided by blood, she continues to go through the motions. Fate has other plans for this thief. In the eye of a hurricane, there is a surreal calm. It's time for her to brace for impact.

WARNING: Contains spoilers from King's Cage!! Mare had been locked up being tortured by Maven for too long. What seemed like an eternity came to an end when she was rescued from her chains. Now she is back with Cal and in Piedmont. Constantly haunted by the past, and struggling to find her rhythm she turns to the only person who would go through hell and back for her, Cal Calore.

This is just a short story of how Mare and Cal came to the decision of having kids at the end of Broken Throne, so spoiler alert if you haven't read it yet. All the characters belong to Victoria Aveyard

Cal is desperately trying to get Mare back. He lost his father, his mother, and his brother, but he refuses to lose Mare. He is trying to come up with a plan to free her, but everything is too risky. But Cal will not just leave Mare to die. Kilorn wants to get Mare back. He needs to get Mare back. He can't survive without her. He is now taking care of her family and working with Cal and her brothers to get her back. Farley is left heartbroken. Her love was murdered and she didn't even get to say goodbye. FANFIC: MAVEN x MARE from RED QUEEN. Book focused on events from GLASS SWORD, but takes its own from there until the end. WARNING: Before reading, I want to get a few things straight. The characters, settings are all owned by Victoria Aveyard. I am a great fan of the Red Queen series, but after reading I still believe that Maven deserves something better that being a monster. I just can't shrug the feeling off that there's more to his side of the story. Aside from original scenes from the Glass Sword, I will be adding different story lines of my own.
