For hundreds of years brave men have sung songs of the mighty winter.. but inside the walls of Winterfell I was safe. Me my family and the North. Untill my father The honourable Lord Eddard stark king of the North rode down to Kings Landing with me and my sisters and everything changed. Winterfell nothing but a dream long forgotten. My brothers nothing but a memory my father nothing but a prisoner in a dungeon beaneath the red keep my sisters probably dead my mother slaughtered by her own bannermen and me the only surviving heir to Winterfell they say the beauty of the seven kingdoms the "snowflake" as they commonly mock me by nothing but a pawn to be valued only by my beauty or my name it is certain that it's now up to the gods and Tywin Lannister to bed me to the kingslayer or the imp. it is now standing in the castle walls more than ever that I remember the songs the brave men used to sing about the long harsh and unforgiving winter . it is now more than ever that I pray to the seven for winter to finally come.

In "Rhaenyra The Golden" I promised only one-shots and a break from this fandom, but I am a dirty liar. I swear this happens every single time I start writing House of the Dragon fic. I sit down with one clear idea in mind, fully convinced I know where the story is going, and somehow I end up with two. The same thing happened with "The Rogue Prince Come Again" and "HIMYF - Targaryen Edition", so at this point I really should know better than to fight it. So far, we've wandered through Dorne, Driftmark, the Stepstones, the North, and even Yi Ti. And now-whether I like it or not-we're heading into my least favorite region of all: the Riverlands. I have complaints. Many of them. But the story demanded it, and I've learned that arguing rarely works. This fic is me unapologetically playing cupid, rearranging pieces, and indulging a little too hard in character dynamics. Somewhere along the way, I also circled right back to my Sims tendencies, because apparently I cannot help myself when it comes to orchestrating the chaos that is Westeros. As always, thank you for reading, and for sticking with me as this series continues to grow sideways instead of straight ahead.
