It's been years since peace was over the land of equestria. Years of devastating battle and death. Equestria has launched into a civil war between which princess deserves to be the ruler of Equestria. Those who support The Solar Empire think Celestia should continue leading on her own while the New Lunar Republic think Luna should take the throne. In the middle of this fight is also a group that think the two princesses should rule together. On this side is a hippalectryon named Stone. Stone is split between both sides as both her parents and even her siblings have deserted her for their desired princesses. Stone is determined to stop this war so she can reunite with her family and really understand what it was like before the war. But is it really that simple? In S9, After King Sombra's horn was found in the Crystal Empire, the princesses have decided to resurrect him and reform him. The pony to reform him will be none other than... Fluttershy! But what will happen when our yellow pegasus learns more about the evil king? After spending a few months with Fluttershy, Sombra finds out that she is the Element of Kindness, and he takes advantage of that. When he gets his strength back, he is ready to attack the crystal empire, but will he?

An Alicorn was born which all of Equestria does not know about. He was raised without an actual family, so he has been roaming Equestria for a place to belong to. He would eventually head to Ponyville where his life changed for the better. I do not own the original series as it is a fanfiction. This is based off the Season 5 finale where we see alternate versions of the present day if Twilight Sparkle and her friends never united. I randomly got this idea and decided to try to write this. (This story was actually gonna focus exclusively on the King Sombra alternate present, but I got the idea to fit in the other ones too, and once I get a writing idea, it stays stuck in my head for a while, so I tried to merge my new idea with what I had planned originally and this was the end result.
