A thousand thoughts swam in his head about this trip, like what it meant and what it would lead to, as well as the fact that he and Adrianne would presume the roles of regent, temporary king and queen, until the king himself returned. Legolas pulled the blanket further up their naked bodies. 'Do you think they're already sleeping with each other?' he shamelessly asked."

Maelynn always has been the odd one in Lothlorién, her ears are different and no one knows her lineage. No parents or name for herself, she serves as a Warden in Lothlorién under the command of Captain Haldir. When evil is rising in the East, rumours have spread amongst the elves which say a creature that once held unto the Ring has escaped from the kingdom of Mirkwood. Maelynn has been set up with the task to inform, as her Lady Galadriel has seen the possible future. But no one forsaw this particular outcome, where Maelynn had to choice between the two things that are most valuable to her: her heart or her soul. This story takes place during the War of the Rings and follows both the books and the movies!

The Third age draws to a close and the Fourth begins. The world is once again at peace for a time, and the time of men begins. Thranduil's people, being elves, began to gradually filter from the mortal land of Aman, and he was determined to be there to see the very last of them off, even when only five of them remain. Despite the quiet years and his ambitions to live as long as possible, he craved a fight, a few moments of glory at the head of an army. So when the opportunity presents itself he is more than willing to go, two of his guards and closest companions going with him. Could he truly bring the Elves to glory once again in their final years?

Aeolin of Lothlorien has been traveling across Middle Earth for a little over a hundred years. After a loss struck her heart, Lothlorien was more of a reminder of it than a home. Aeolin decides to stop by the Woodland Realm to see a friend and, of course, meets the King of Mirkwood. Intrigued by how such a hard man could raise such a kind son, she tends to push her luck with the king and may enjoy it just a bit too much. On her way to Erebor following the deaths of her family, Princess Dís receives some unexpected news from King Thranduil, and an offer to make Mirkwood her home. I was just enjoying (as much as an assassin can) a cup of coffee and The Hobbit/The Lord of the Rings marathon when there was a rather loud crash in the kitchen. Somehow, one of the best warriors in Middle-earth crashed into my house. Now I have to get him back to where he belongs. But there are somethings about my past that even I don't know. Some things that have been hidden for a very long time. And now they are coming back to haunt me. I may add NCIS. If you haven't watched it, it is the best TV show ever. **WARNING: MAY BE VIOLENT AT TIMES**

Thranduil lost his wife and Legolas his mother, though he was too young to remember any of it. Now, a few years later, Legolas has a question that very nearly breaks his father's heart all over again, but the King is determined not to be such a passive figure to his son any more, and attempts to answer his question the best he can for the both of them.
