𝓚𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓬𝓱, a boy born into a family full of ruin. His father is abusive and gambles all of their money away, and his mother is falling to his father. Y/n, an orphaned girl who is simply surviving, holding nothing but a necklace to remind her of her dead mother. A girl with no tribe, no place in the world. One day, when Kinich is shopping for food with his mother, he comes across Y/n, who lets her sit with him for a bit. Kinich goes back, over and over, never realizing the fact he's fallen for her. you and Kinich are lifelong enemies, but when you get lost in the wilderness, you are surprised when he saves you. Will you two learn to trust each other again, and maybe, just maybe... you might be able to find love... Cover art is not mine. I might call Y/N a girl at some times, I'm sorry if I do.

A broadened story of Kinich, and how he came to be, but instead with a girl, who found him in dismay. The saddening and heartbreaking story of KInich, but with a twist. A girl, around the same age, he meets. A slow burn, helps him see that there is more to life then his sorrows, Someone that cares for him, looks out for him, and maybe even more. If you don't like really slow burns then this is not for you, but I enjoy putting detail into a deeper backstory on how I think Kinich came to be, a bit of off shooting and improvisation to make him and his character seem a bit deeper.
