As the Pride Lands become Increasingly dangerous, Kion and Fuli become closer and closer as they discover great evil, new powers, and the beginning of love...or do they? (This story will be a bit more mature as I don't plan on keeping it as kid friendly as Disney did. I plan on 20 chapters, with maybe 3-4 books in total. I already have this book planned out for the most part and I have an idea of where I want to go with Book 2, so it should be a fun ride. After Kion gives up the Roar and his duties as the Fiercest of the Lion Guard, he asks his teammates to accompany him to the Tree of Life so he can be with Queen Rani. However, Fuli sees this a betrayal and believes it undermines everything they have worked for. After years apart, the Pridelands are on edge as a neighbouring Cheetah Coalition threatens a war with King Simba. Kion is forced to return to his homeland and sacrifice his happiness for the sake of peace. The one thing that can prevent a war is a betrothal between the Prideland Prince and the Cheetah Coalition Heiress. "Everything I do is for the Kingdom".

Kion and Fuli are just friends, until they get stuck and have to spend time together, when they realize their feelings for each other. Simba isn't too happy when he finds out. What will Simba do about it? Will Fuli and Kion be allowed to be mates or not? (This takes places in the future and they are young adults. The Tree of Life is not involved.) Beginning to hold more grudges, being more hostile, and just not having the will to keep fighting, Kion slowly turns into a lion his friends have never seen before. Will they find a way to prevail, or is this the end of Kion's story?
