Kipo and Y/N have known each other since they were born. They were inseparable and did everything together. They grew up in the same burrow together. Y/N did not really know a lot about her infancy or her parents though. She always considered Lio like a father. One morning, when they were 7, Y/N fell into the aqueduct and wound up on the surface where she had to learn how to survive, fight, etc. She found out some disturbing things about herself and some joyous ones. Until she saw the same pink-haired girl she never thought she'd see again and soon fall for. * Kipo x FEM reader * will try my best to update regularly* * I suggest watching the series on Netflix before reading this. :))) * this will follow the plot of the series so Y/N will just be added to the original series. A sequel fanfiction to Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. Setting: A few hundred years in the future, the Las Vistas city still stands united with the peace of the mutes and humans. Nothing too drastic has changed, but technology has been recovered and life for all species have generally been improved. Kipo's descendants are regarded as important figures, and they're usually helping out in decision making in the city. Summary (story so far): Jade, a frog mute, recently passed their 18th birthday and is looking around the city for a job. Thanks to her family being somewhat wealthy, she has free time while waiting to apply for a job. She, however, doesn't keep contact with her family very often, and is quite a lone-wolf, having her end up in a situation that would both hurt her but give her more opportunities in the future... Romance later in the story.
