He had supported Alfonse many times in the past and he had told him before about his worries of possibly losing him. He thought he'd come to understand what the prince felt when he would think this. But as the saying goes: you never truly understand one's pain until it happens to you.

Hel's words were ringing in his mind. The prince was cursed with death. The castle and its residents are in a panic and consumed with worry. He never anticipated the mission would go this badly.

Even though he's in a completely different world, it doesn't mean that he can't enjoy the holiday traditions. Especially when he's surrounded with friends, comrades and those who may as well be family.

This doesn't really have an actual plot outside the Tempest Trial connection. I just wanted an excuse to pat Alfonse on the head and tell him how he's the best.

What makes a legend? Is it the Light that guides the way through the shadows? Is it the Afterglow that shines once the heroes have fallen? Is it the Cursed that finds liberation after the darkness has consumed them? All must find their own wings, their purpose in this fight. Because even with a formidable army, strength may not bring victory. (Fire Emblem and every single on of its characters belong to Nintendo and Intelligent Systems.)
