This story is a Kirari Momobami and Sayaka Igarashi character study. That being said, this story will be completely canon-compliant and as in-character as possible. The entire thing will be through Sayaka's point of view since we get insight on her thought process in the series, unlike Kirari. This story will give the reader a glimpse of Kirari and Sayaka's progressing relationship right after the Tower of Doors Arc. Therefore, this will take place at the beginning of the election. Since the Election Arc has not been completed in the manga yet, I will have to improvise when it comes to unconfirmed information. Thank you for reading, I appreciate all of the support. Short summary: A vampire story with our favourite Kakegurui characters Long summary: Mary is a vampire hunter that has been hunting down vampires posing as humans for years. One day the organisation she works for introduces a new vampire hunter, one with brilliant blue eyes and strange grey hair. The new recruit has extraordinary kinetic vision and speed. The two start to bond and grow closer when Mary starts to notice that this vampire hunter is not who she thought she was. Mary returns to the organisation after a one week break only to find the headquarters burnt to the ground and her new friend to be missing. She goes on a manhunt for her friend and comes across something startling: That very same friend may very well be the same person who destroyed the organisation. Mary proceeds to embark on a journey of betrayal, love and self-discovery, with her eyes open to a new world of which she has never seen.

It's Valentine's Day in Hyakkaou Private Academy, and Sayaka plans to gift something to Kirari. But could it turn into something more? Not sure about the timeline except that it's after the tower of doors episodes. This is my first time writing a kakegurui and kirasaya fic. I also posted this on ao3.
