A year of survival has changed Nexus Haven.
The missing legends begin to return, but nothing waits for them in the old shape. Luigi has become command. Peach has become steel under grace. The support cast has become infrastructure. The war has a home now, and that home has learned how to fight.
Mario returns from a prison designed to mock memory itself. Sonic wakes damaged, angry, and indebted to the one who saved him. Ash begins training heroes older than him because war does not care about age when the lesson is right. Tails and Mega Man trace signals through enemy architecture. Fox, Sheik, Greninja, Zelda, Rosalina, Samus, and the others begin pulling the fractured world back into usable shape.
But return is not repair.
The prison networks still breathe. Mephiles still manipulates. The fused worlds are crawling with Goombas, Koopas, Badniks, Bokoblins, Boos, Kremlings, and worse. Every rescued hero brings strength back to Haven, but also trauma, debt, and new enemy attention.
Unity's Dawn is not the moment the old world comes back.
It is the moment the new resistance realizes it has outgrown the old myth.
