Kirishima and Bakugou had the opportunity to go on a island away from everyone. They were still on hero duty. The two friends went into the woods and started patrolling looking for a villain that was attacking the town. Kirishima got shot a few minutes into the walk. A villain... a new villain was out in the open. Kirishima dropped to the ground and held his stomach where he got shot. Bakugou was freaking out. He lost control of his quirk and blew up the whole forest. The villain got away. When the dust settled the only thing seen was Bakugou on the ground crying. Bakugou and Kirishima have been married for seven years. They have an adopted daughter and are surrounded by friends who love them. Nothing could make the pair of pro heroes happier. One day, Kirishima is sent on a mission to help the heroes in another country. Bakugou has a bad feeling about this mission, but he can't deny his husband's excitement at being the hero chosen. He supports Kirishima's choice to go on the mission. Kirishima is only supposed to be gone for one month, but at the end of that month, he still isn't home, and now, he's not answering any of his husband's calls. It's not like the red head to ignore his explosive blonde. Another two weeks of silence goes by before Bakugou is given the news. Kirishima is MIA. No one knows where he is or what happened to him, but Bakugou refuses to accept that he's gone. He keeps Kirishima's phone service connected, and calls his beloved red head every day in hopes that one day his call will be answered.
