Although the remnants of the war are still visible, it is undeniable that since the fall of the villains responsible for the destruction, life has been slowly but surely going back to normal. The story is set after the final arc in the manga so there may be little nods and reference from that so I encourage you to read the manga. Having no clue as to his whereabouts, Izuku must escape from the cave he awakes in and from the siren who had brought him there. Only, the task at hand proved to be easier said than done. Without meaning to, Izuku grows to learn more about the siren -- Shoto Todoroki -- as if he were human; learning of the lonely existance sirens live out, using their songs not to kill but to search. Could what Shoto was searching for be the frightened human sailor he had brought home with him, or had his song led him astray once more?
