It's the early 1800's. Pirates are caught between the navies of the colonies and Europe. You are the captain of a ship in the shiny new American navy. Your reputation grows for capturing pirates, and you eventually have a larger capture record than anyone else. One day a storm leaves your ship in shambles. A desperate Captain Kirkland, once the most feared pirate of the seven seas, is desperate for a score. What will happen when the number one pirate and number one pirate hunter meet face to face?

Magic. Dark Magic to be exact is curious. Deadly but very curious. In the right hands can be good. But in the wrong, everything gets curiouser and curiouser. Some are meant to know magic and some not so much. Like a certain man named Arthur Kirkland. Although Black Magic originated in England, Arthur is not very good at it. Not to mention he always does it at the wrong time. One spell gone wrong and it changes the fabric of time and space. Read to find out what happens to Arthur Kirkland.

The other countries have been having secret meetings without Britain, as he soon finds out. He is forced to forget his past as a country, and must now survive in a regular highschool. And the rest... that's for me to know and you to find out.
